Terry is a clinical counsellor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice office in Abbotsford B.C. Canada. Terry also offers internet counselling through email, or a secure video platform, and currently has clients that seek his services from various locations including Canada, Australia and the U.S.
He has over forty years experience in the counselling field, including thirteen years in hospital psychiatry, community family counselling agencies, and twenty-five years in full time private practice. Terry is a graduate of the University of British Columbia where he holds three degees, and is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients and issues. Among his areas of expertise are the treatment of psychological traumas from abuse or accidents (with E.M.D.R.), dealing with domestic violence and relationship issues, and a wide variety of personal problems ranging from depression, anxiety and other psychiatric issues, to grief, stress and anger management problems.
He has conducted workshops and made presentations at local conferences, as well as in university settings. He has also supervised Master's level university students in counselling programs, and currently provides supervision to other private practice community counsellors.
